Strategic M&A Consultant

The successful Strategic M&A Consultant candidate will be:
• Part of the team driving forward the development of a market-leading Commercial Due Diligence proposition focused on insurance and wider Financial Services sectors.
• Time will be spent working on strategy projects within an M&A environmentas well as on the due diligence side of the business.
• Helping with the team's business development,as it looks to grow rapidly in both the short and medium term.
• Day-to-day management of overall projects through a practical and commercial approach in order to complete their timely delivery.
• Manage research into latest transaction trends and developments in the insurance sector, speaking at conferences and writing articles for publication.
• Participate in various marketing initiatives and practice development activities (e.g. client presentations, key client account, industry, geography, and product programmes.

Who we're looking for
• Candidates who have previously worked in the financial services sector, preferably with a good insurance sector knowledge.
• A consultant who has worked on a strategy role within the Mergers and Acquisitions sector.
• A strong understanding of the commercial and financial due diligence process.
• The ability to communicate financial modelling and project management findings clearly to stakeholders so that they understand the solutions to problems identified.
• A team player who is looking to join an expanding team with the potential to be playing a leading role quickly.
• A 2:1 degree and although not essential, an MBA is preferred.
