The role will suit candidates who are not just an accountant but have something more to offer: you will be commercially and operationally astute and will relish the opportunity to influence and develop this division from an operational as well as a financial perspective. To be the Operational Management Accountant youwill have some experience of forging and maintaining working relationships with the planning teams, supply chain, commercial and operational teams on a daily basis. It is vital that you are able to communicate finance in a clear and concise way in order to maximise the profitability of the site and control costs. It is important that you are proactive and don't just react to problems on site but are able to identify issues and suggest operational and financial improvements. You will also be involved in mainstream accounting with both management account full profit and loss control and reporting.
