To support the buying activity in regards to carrying out the sourcing strategy, within the prescribed category delivering the right product at the right time for customers with maximum cost effectiveness

Who we're looking for
The role holder will require:
Excellent negotiation skills
A proven track record of high performance in a high profile Buying role
An ability to thrive in a fast-paced and pressurised environment
An ability to develop and manage excellent relationships with key branded and unbranded suppliers
A strong ability to analyse financial and competitor data to inform commercial decision making
Experience of developing and sourcing products (preferably with experience of Far East sourcing)
A high degree of tenacity and drive
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Experience of good cross-functional working
Ideally the role holder will have experience of the DIY market
