Demand Planner

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a robust sales forecast for all products in a specific category
Some of your main tasks will include:
To lead the forecast review meetings with Customer Business Managers
To maintain an excellent knowledge of promotional plans, competitor activity and major customer strategies within the sector in order to continuously improve forecast accuracy
To lead the collaborative planning process with strategically important customers
To develop a reliable supply plan for selected product groups which meets business plans and service objectives whilst minimising inventory levels and communicate this plan to the production site.
To maintain stock levels in line with policy, including strategic / seasonal stock builds and new product introductions.
To identify potential capacity issues over the planning horizon and to identify solutions which ensure continuity of supply. This may involve, for example, a cost / benefit / risk analysis.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate for the role of Demand Planner will be someone who has had previous exposure to an FMCG environment and is immediately available.
You will possess the following attributes:
Strong analytical skills
Be able to build and develop relationships with key stakeholders and customers
Solid interpersonal skills
An ability to learn an understand the wider business and the affects it will have on your day to day task.
