A well established new Business Development Manager is required within the New Media sector to take over the Yorkshire patch for a highly successful advertising company. The role requires a new business hunter who can go out, generate new business and revenues, and manage existing accounts with existing clients within a well established area of the business
Who we're looking for
• A new business developer with a proven track record of revenue generation • A confident and consultative approach •A proven track record in New Media sales • An understanding of the Media marketplace • A money motivated and tenacious sales person

This is the number one quality we look for in a BDM. • HIGH ENERGY LEVELS It is important that you understand and demonstrate high energy levels and activities that are required to achieve the level of quality appointments and opportunities to meet/exceed targets. • ABILITY AND PROPENSITY TO LEARN The successful salesperson needs to be able to evaluate a situation and adapt his behaviour to meet the needs, drives and personalities of the customer. • THE ABILITY TO BUILD POSITIVE BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS This requires empathy, the ability to listen, perceptiveness and the ability to mould yourself into the kind of person the prospect needs. • A SELF-IMAGE OF SUCCESS The successful salesperson will have a positive self image which will be reflected in their success. • PERSONAL MOTIVATION An interior, personal drive to succeed, to be the best, to excel is what we look for in a BDM. This person will have an inherent hunger for success.
