This multi-faceted role has a number of key responsibilities:
• To achieve an agreed sales target of revenue and overall growth of the business within the designated market whilst maintaining appropriate margin levels.
• Develop new business opportunities through a variety of means including a personal marketing plan, proactive networking and internal cross-selling through nurturing inter-divisional relationships.
• Generate appropriate participation and buy-in from senior and C-level executives in client organisations.
• Thoroughly understand and explain the Harvey Nash Software Development and Outsourcing business to prospective clients, keeping abreast of current trends within the market place.
• Provide regular management information, metrics and reports and sales pipeline, new opportunity development, forecasting and account activity against financial targets and quota milestones.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following credentials in order to be successful in this role:
• Experienced in selling software development solutions with a demonstrable track record of sales in the private sector and software companies market.
• It is quite possible that you will have a technical software development background before moving into a client-facing sales role.
• The ability to sell and deliver bespoke offerings within a consultative environment.
• Proven track record of negotiating, winning and delivering high value propositions.
• Significant sales and account development experience with the know-how of running a full 'concept to close', service led solution.
• Ability to operate and network at Board level within diverse organisations.

Harvey Nash Software Development and Outsourcing business was established initially in 2000 and effectively started trading in the UK market in 2003. The business currently employs c.1300 people, mostly in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam with worldwide sales one third of Harvey Nash revenues. The Software Development business unit is a significant contributor to the growth and profitability of Harvey Nash plc.
One of the key objectives for the future is to increase the size and duration of projects - historically, the average service delivery has ranged from six-figure, typical software development through to multi-million pound, multi-year contracts. To help facilitate this growth the business is looking to hire 2 exceptional Sales Executives that fit the criteria detailed below.
