Head of Payment Cards

In this role you will:
lead the Card Schemes & Industry area and drive relationships with the Payment Schemes and Cards Industry to meet the current and developing needs of the Bank for all card products: Credit, Debit and Prepaid products. Sponsor implementation of Scheme/Industry initiatives where required.
Drive relationships with the Card Payment Schemes(Visa, MasterCard) and the UK Cards Association to ensure they are optimised to support the everyday running of payment cards: revenues are maximised, costs are minimised
Drive the Payment Schemes/ Industry to support the strategic priorities of my internal customers in the Credit card, Debit card and Prepaid business areas

sponsor relevant Scheme/ Industry projects ensuring they are delivered on time and meet the objectives of our internal customers, while ensuring a sustainable, effective relationship with our partners

lead the development of the Bank's business position on Scheme/Industry matters to ensure it is formulated with the support of all key stakeholders and that we influence the Schemes/ Industry in the right way to get our message across effectively

Who we're looking for
Solid experience in the cards industry at a senior level
Strategic thinker
Man Management experience
