The purpose of this role is to facilitate the organisation's strategic planning process through market research/analysis and creating/maintaining our Strategic Marketing Plan. Thereafter the successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of the plan. Therefore the key deliverable is a clear, market driven strategic plan supported by a marketing process designed to increase enquiries, and ultimately orders, from our targeted market.
Who we're looking for
Experience: An experienced marketing professional with market research and content creation skills. Preferably, though not necessarily with an engineering/manufacturing background covering research, strategy formulation and design/execution of marketing campaigns across multiple markets.
Skills: The successful candidate will have an analytical mind capable of accessing, absorbing and understanding information from a wide variety of sources. They will also need great communication skills, used to questioning and listening to people and presenting information both written and verbal to colleagues at all levels in the organisation. Methodical and tenacious, an individual who likes working to a process. Well organised with good IT skills. Personal Characteristics: Whilst the successful candidate will have to build strong working relationships with the team, he/she will also need to be a self starter, capable of working on his/her own. Thus the individual requires a positive, optimistic outlook, resilience and much energy. The candidate will be presentable, articulate and personable. The capability to build empathy with a diverse range of contacts is essential. In line with our values, we are looking for someone with high ethical standards and integrity.
