Reporting directly into the Manufacturing Engineering Manager you will work closely and support the programme managers on new project introduction. You will ensure the manufacturing facility is fully equipped with the required tooling, equipment and the process documentation is in place.You will be responsible for implementing tooling and documentation changes initiated by the engineering change procedure. You will work closely with operators / quality engineers / shift managers / maintenance in day to day problem solving.

Who we're looking for
The Ideal candidate shall have the following:-
• Qualified to a Degree/HNC level in Mechanical and or Production Engineering.
•A working knowledge within a blue chip engineering business would be an advantage.
• Track record of working in an assembly type environment.
• Effective communicator at all levels.
•Ability to demonstrate knowledge of- TS16949, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Kaizen, Poke Yoke.
