UK Technical Sales Manager - Explosion Protection will be responsible for: • Selling explosion protection systems used within dry industrial processes that have the potential for a dust explosion. • Strategic business development targeting end-users and OEM's across a range of industries within the dry materials handling environment including food & dairy, wood, grain, coal processing, recycling, food & animal feed and bio fuels to name a few. • Direct sales calls to support existing and new business opportunities. Conduct customer process reviews and provide technical recommendations for protection technology using Industry Codes and Standards. • Identification of detailed customer requirements, including technical field audits. • Planning, scheduling and supporting product / system installations. • Participating and assisting with various marketing initiatives including. exhibitions and industry seminars.
Who we're looking for
• Engineering qualification (Mechanical and /or Electronics) is essential • Commercially astute Technical Sales Manager who is technically competent selling solutions in an application driven business. • Experience of new business development including mapping out targeted areas and industries • Experience in system / capital equipment sales with some relationships in the field of dry materials handling would be preferred. • Self starting, proactive with the ability to achieve objectives with minimal supervision. • Willingness to travel mainly in the UK, occasional trips within Europe or US.
