Senior Supply Chain Analyst

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will work as part of the Supply Chain team, and will be responsible for all aspects of production planning/control and inbound/outbound materials.
• Effectively communicate with the customer/supplier base, ensuring they are kept fully informed as to the status of their ongoing requirements, including material status during engineering change.
• To ensure the Customers requirements are imported in an accurate and timely manner.
• To maintain and export the Suppliers schedules in an accurate and timely manner.
• To maintain the purchase schedule ensuring product is delivered in line with requirements, whilst maintaining pre-defined levels of inventory.
• Ensure schedule maintenance and CUM management occurs in a timely manner
• Responsible for customer returns
• Maintenance of all static data and the planning information within MFG pro ensuring data integrity
• Ensuring that all new product and change management amendments are set up in a timely manner on MFG pro
• Responsible for MFG pr process development and improvement
• Responsible for the production planning process for both press and assembly and its improvement.
• Maintenance of all production and capacity plan static data
• To produce all strategic and NPI (customer specific) capacity plans
• Responsible for data accuracy.
• The generation of applicable performance measures, conducting root cause analysis when performance does not attain pre-determined levels of acceptability.
• Responsible for the appropriate dissemination and maintenance of customer information e.g. forecasts.
• Provide cover and support for the other members of the Supply Chain team
• Responsible for collating daily/weekly/monthly KPI information and preparing BOS chart submissions.

Who we're looking for
• Relevant experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably Automotive.
• Must have an attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Good mathematical aptitude.
• Articulate with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Experience of operating in a MRP environment use of Mfg Pro is preferred.
• Knowledge of JIT, Kanban, MRP and other modern manufacturing control techniques preferred.
• Ability to remain analytical and make sound business decisions in a fast moving environment.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressurised working conditions
• Must be able to prioritise a hectic workload and be prepared to work hours in line with business needs.
