The role will be to manage both the property and FM across 17 sites within the UK As the Head of Property Services you will be required to manage an internal team of 4 and have take responsibility for the contract management of external contractors. You will be responsible for manage the day to day relationship with external consultants and internal stakeholders within the organisation. The key areas of responsibility are Estate Management, Facilities Management, Safety, Health & Environment and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery management. You will be required to maintain a detailed Property Register and be responsible for all property matters including dealing with Rent Reviews, Licences for Alterations, Lease Expiries, Dilapidations and Business Rates. Full responsibility for the P&L for the property department. Assist and develop the property team with their careers.
Who we're looking for
The ideal individual will have experience of strategically managing the complete property services across a corporate environment. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with senior level individuals within the organisation and able to deliver in a demanding environment The key areas of expertise we are looking for include: Minimum five years experience at a strategic level of managing the property and facilities services for a multi site operational portfolio and 10 years multi disciplined experience of a senior operational role Experience of managing Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery. Excellent understanding of Health & Safety and Facilities legislation and best practice. RICS or other relevant property qualification desirable NEBOSH, IOSH or other relevant Health & Safety Qualifications Based in London or able to commute on a daily basis is essential
