Commodities Manager

As Commodities Manager you will have full ownership for your allocated category and overall responsibility for delivering your team's savings targets. Additional responsibilities will include:

• To design, implement and continually improve processes and tools used to manage the category spend.
• To capture, report and make recommendations on information and data relating to your category
• To provide commercial and negotiation expertise to all projects and initiatives within your category.
• To identify Procurement cost reduction opportunities across your category and follow through as appropriate.
• To provide procurement expertise to all UK based functional departments as appropriate.

Who we're looking for
To be successful in this role you will ideally be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and CIPS qualified (or working towards qualification). You will have a strong background of direct procurement within a multimillion turn over business and a proven ability to achieve significant cost savings. You should possess well developed influencing skills and be adept at developing and implementing sourcing strategies. Management experience is essential and should be clearly detailed on your CV.
