The successful person will manage a portfolio of banks, financial institutions and asset managers, and assist with their recruitment mandates on a search or contingent basis.
Your role will involve -
• Business development and origination of new client relationships.
• Relationship management of a portfolio of banks, financial institutions and asset managers.
• Developing an understanding of the markets the team specialises in - specifically M&A, ECM, Corporate Broking, Equity Research and Private Equity.
• Meeting with clients to discuss recruitment solutions with them.
• Generating candidates for new opportunities via networking, our database and selective headhunting.
• Managing the recruitment process, negotiation and closing deals.
• Developing strong relationships with candidates, advising them and proactively identifying possible opportunities for them with our clients.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Previous professional experience, from recruitment, banking, financial institution or other background related to the financial services industry.
• An understanding of, and general interest in,corporate finance.
• A determined attitude and drive to succeed in a challenging market.
• Strong team work and interpersonal skills. Very strong influencing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and the willingness to take ownership of their portfolio & roles.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work as a team to drive a business forward.
• Strong ability to apply knowledge of people, markets and facts to a business environment.

This team is focused on Corporate Finance including M&A, ECM and Corporate Broking, Equity Research on the buy-side and sell-side, and Private Equity. We have a 30 year track record in this space in the City, and our management team have all worked for Michael Page for more than5 years. Many of the team have come from a financial services background (banking, funds and brokerage).
This role is in London, based in the City.
