Business Development Manager

To be responsible for business development and new business generation via designated house builders and contractors. To be the focal point for all major house builder activity throughout the Company, ensuring the offer to the house building market is "best in class" and generates incremental and profitable sales. To maximise sales and margin of the Company's products via professional representation to architects, specifiers, builders, contractors, distributors, builders' merchants and other nominated third parties. To promote the Company in the most advantageous way for the short, medium and long term in line with Company strategy.

Who we're looking for
1. Previous proven knowledge and experience of selling to the construction industry through distribution, specification and extensively with major house builders.

2. Exposure to marketing oriented strategic selling.

3. Negotiation at senior management level.

4. Proven experience of focusing on and achieving financial targets in terms of cost, profit, markets and added value.

5. Proven track record of delivering creative timely solutions to overcome obstacles and enhance profitability.

6. High standard of product knowledge and sales presentation.
