In this challenging and exciting role you will ensure that products and suppliers within bathroom category comply with the groups quality, safety and enviromental requirements and UK/European legislation. Principally you will be responsible for:
• Product evaluation and approval, risk assessment, benchmarking and return analysis
• Maintain technical files
• Supplier evaluation and approvals as appopriate
• Ensure all non-compliance issues are effectively dealt with and appropriate remedial action taken
• Ensure accuracy of product certification
• Establishing relationships with technical contacts at suppliers and specialist service providers such as legislative bodies, test houses, trade associations

Who we're looking for
• Experience of QA practices and methodology
• Knowledge of British & European Product safety & technical standards
• Knowledge of product legislation. Knowledge of manufacturing processes would be desirable
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good numeracy skills and conversant in word and excel
• Well organised
• Flexibility to travel
