Our client is a High Street Fashion Retail Chain who is searching for talented Premium Range Menswear Designer (3 days pw) based in their Brussels, Belgium office. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for someone who wants to experience an international lifestyle with a household fashion name in Europe. Main duties include: - Responsible for the design of their premium range brand - Target customer focused collection development - Preparation of the seasonal colour & fabric concept, styling sketches and design layouts - Preparation of the accessory trend forecast - Trend scouting (fairs, competition, research) - Preparation of the intake information - Involvement in the seasonal planning to equipment concept with the Product Managers - Preparation of the colour concept, collection definition and brand review meetings - Handling of seasonal PR - collection requirements, advert activities - Sample, fitting & approval control together with PM/Technician - Preparation of detailed product/styling description including measurements etc. for world wide supplier range and production facilities - Transfer of technical product information via PC and CAD - Involvement in slow/bestseller analysis - Involvement in competitor collection, market and trend analyses
Who we're looking for
- Fashion design or Graphic design background within Menswear - Experience of designing for a premium range - Very good communication / presentation skills (fluent English essential) - Good computer knowledge (Illustrator, PDM,etc.) - Strong time management - The ability to work in Brussels 3 days per week (full expenses paid)
