The role is focused across the full spectrum of the retail banking industry and will include: • Operating model design and delivery • Process Transformation • Risk and Regulation • Cost Reduction
Your main role will be to: • Work within or manage small projects or programme work streams • Understand and anticipate client requirements and develop client relationships • Design workable solutions for clients • Analyse key risks and resolve potential problems. • Contribute to the development and growth of the retail banking practice whilst also contributing to team development.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have: • Previous expertise within a major retail bank, building society or consulting firm involved in retail banking. • Worked within an Operations Excellence team, ideally as part of a graduate rotation program. • Detailed knowledge and understanding of the UK retail banking industry and market. • Excellent project and programme management disciplines including production of detailed project plans, key quality programme deliverables and working and delivering to strict time constraints • Strong communication abilities in order to liaise with stakeholders and team members • Excellent people and leadership skills with a strong focus on team working within a high performing functional team
• All applicants are required: • To have a 2:1 degree from a leading university, with a Masters being highly favoured. •To understand risk, how to mitigate risk and protect the firm's reputation • To have a good knowledge of methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, BPR techniques and operating model analysis • Ability to travel as short notice nationally and at times internationally
