Reporting into the Business Unit Leader, in this role you will be responsible for leading, developing and improving quality and ensuring compliance at all times with the relevant regulated bodies.
Responsibilities will include:
• Act as the Company point of contact with Approval Bodies, Regulatory Authorities ISO9001/AS9100, EASA (CAA), and Customers on all matters relating to product quality and Company approvals.
• Plan and control an effective internal audit program necessary to assure compliance with customer and mandatory regulatory requirements (ISO/ EASA as a minimum).
• Participate in product design reviews and phase sign offs as defined within Company design procedures.
• Business Unit contact with customers on all quality related issues including but not limited to, contractual requirements, design reviews, performance measurement and failure investigations.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an education in an engineering discipline and a track record of workingISO9001/AS9100 standards and EASA regulations.
Key competencies required include:
• Accredited quality professional qualification or accredited six sigma/process improvement professional.
• Established quality professional with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Track record of developing relationships with the Civil Aviation Authority.
• Detailed knowledge of manufacturing processes such as assembly and machining.
• Detailed knowledge of quality tools.

What's on offer
£40,000 to £45,000 + pension + bonus + possible assistance with relocation.
