Leading a small team and reporting to the Treasurer, the Insurance Manager is responsible for delivering a full range of insurance covering; regular procurement/tendering, budgeting, ongoing compliance with lenders? insurance requirements, claims investigation and negotiation, insurance risk management and relationship management. To effectively deliver in the role the candidate must be able to operate in a complex environment, build strong relationships both internally and with the insurance market and be able to administer a large scale insurance programme (circa $20b) on behalf of multiple stakeholders.
Who we're looking for
Key selection criteria include:
• Degree qualified with appropriate professional qualification (ACII)
• Extensive experience in a senior commercial role in a corporate environment, preferable within Energy or other asset intensive industries
• Relevant insurance experience in managing to major risks to physical assets, use of captives, negotiating with brokers and insurers and tendering large scale insurance programmes
• Strong communication, relationship building and influencing capabilities
