Head of Customer Communications

The purpose of the role is to lead and deliver a fully comprehensive communications programme across the consumer market. This role is accountable for ensuring that relevant and engaging customer communication materials are delivered across the company's key commercials and brand objectives.

It will also lead the interface between UK and Global marketing on matters concerning brand communication plans and campaigns, ensuring this relationship is running smoothly and maximum synergies are being achieved.

You will be accountable for:

· Strategic management and planning of a suite of differentiating communications through appropriate media

· Developing a robust targeted communications strategy to support all key proposition launches within the consumer portfolio

· Delivery of strategic advertising campaigns to drive advocacy and awareness of the brand through the marketing of key consumer products

· Responsible for the delivery of quick turnaround direct response marketing communications

· Responsible for managing the relationship with the consumer marketing team and the creative agency community and ensuring all parties are working to the same strategy

· Accountable for managing the performance and output of the key creative agencies

Who we're looking for
· Ideally you will have experience of managing the consumer brand communications for a large scale B2C organisation. You will have delivered a strategic brand communication plan and have an exceptional understanding of the brand and the impact on the consumer market

· You will have been accountable for a Media budget of circa £50m which may include a Production budget of £5m and an Advertising budget of £1m

· A knowledge of the broader marketing mix including ATL, BTL, TTL, Digital and Channel Marketing would be preferable

· Stakeholder engagement capability is a must. Experience of agency management and measurement, as well as experience of having a team of direct reports

· Exceptional communications skills

· UK Media knowledge including media planning, buying and measurement - Brand marketing perception/attitudes

· Proven experience of delivering complex, fast turnaround TTL campaigns

Candidates must be willing to travel, this role will be 3 days per week in Newbury and 2 days per week in London.
