The main responsibilities of the role include; • develop a Fundraising Research strategy to help secure significant support from the corporate sector. • Identifying researching new prospects- work proactively to highlight prospects and new opportunities to the department as well as reactively to incoming requests.
• To take responsibility for Fundraising Research and corporate prospect management. • Compile Fundraising Research reports and profiles on existing and potential corporate supporters to ensure relationships are maximised. • Gather and disseminate information about key corporate sector developments (mergers, sales, acquisitions, new senior appointments) as well as monitoring how charity competitors are performing. • To manage Fundraising databases to pull Fundraising Research analysis reports. • To manage the stewardship plan to enable them to fully support prospects, suspects, NB clients and all volunteers, such as our Corporate Partnership Board.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have; • demonstrable experience of high level stakeholder management. • experience of developing a Fundraising corporate prospect stewardship plan. • experience of resourcing, using initiative, raising issues, suggesting Fundraising solutions in day to day job/projects and charity involvement. • an awareness of the differing Fundraising techniques for corporate partners. • a commercial awareness of sectors that that Charity is partnered with. • proven experience of supporting a team through the delivery of excellent of fundraising research. • excellent written and verbal communication skills.
