The Group IT Security and Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing and overseeing the company's global IT security regime. The job holder will develop and manage the procedures used to provide access to business information in compliance with the company's published IT policies and standards.
Who we're looking for
The job holder will be responsible for developing the IT security stance and ensuring the adoption of recommended security solutions throughout the group.
In addition, the Group IT Security and Compliance Manager has a responsibility to ensure thatthe companyremains legally compliant at all times with terms and conditions of IT licenses including software and to advise the organisation of its responsibilities in this regard. This includes the management of external software audits and related processes.
The successful candidate will be an experienced technical IT security practitioner with project management exposure and extensive experience in managing IT security in an enterprise environment. The role requires exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of implementing appropriate safeguards for commercial organisations. Negotiation and persuasion will often be required in this role.
Skills required: The Group IT Security and Compliance Manager is expected from time to time to work unsocial hours and be prepared to provide emergency assistance outside normal working hours and at weekends. The job holder will also be required to travel to other sites both in the UK and overseas depending upon project priorities. Desired Qualifications: Prince2 - CISSP - ITIL V3
