Associate Counsel

As Associate Counsel you will support content acquisition and related transactions across our client's digital entertainment platform and advise the marketing and consumer proposition and product teams

• Linear and non-linear content acquisition across multiple platforms and devices; innovative content partnerships and co-branding agreements; linking agreements; negotiating with music collecting societies; track record of dealing with US studios, UK PSBs and other major content providers.

• Good working understanding of copyright legislation and regulation of content and communications services.

• Advice and guidance related to our client's consumer productsincluding the launch of new products and ongoing development and exploitation of existing products. Responsibilities will include advising on applicable consumer and related laws, drafting and negotiation of relevant contracts, advice in relation to the company's marketing campaigns, branding and trade mark issues, product positioning and end-to-end support for consumer-facing projects.

• Experience in supporting corporate transactions

• Some time spent in house an advantage

Who we're looking for
You must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Senior level negotiation skills

• An Excellent academic background

• A good grounding in media law, commercial law, connected laws and regulations.

• Substantial experience in the areas detailed above.
