Experienced ecommerce designer based in Surrey will be responsible for the design ofthis high street retailer's siteand associated sites. As part of a growing and dynamic e-commerce team the role will include designing new website features, work flows, microsites, advertising promotions and email campaigns.

In addition the role will involve the designing and integration of new e-commerce functionality and therefore knowledge usability design best practices in e-commerce is mandatory.

• Designing and maintainingthe site'sUI interface
• Designing and Integrating new e-commerce platform features
• Designing and implementing a variety of HTML e-mail creative in accordance with best practices
• Analysing and researching e-commerce user experience and designing work flows accordingly
• Designing supplier micro sites on their main site, including graphic content, site navigation, and layout of content with a good understanding of user experience and usability
• Support and contribute to development projects on the website

Who we're looking for
• At least three years experience in a similar online role
• Excellent graphic design skills
• Strong development skills in XHTML and CSS
• An understanding of and ability in animation, illustration, presentation, and publishing applications (DreamWeaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, ImageReady, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign, etc.)
• Strong understanding of e-commerce user experience best practices
• Good understanding of the importance of SEO
• To be a keen team player able to take briefs and develop compelling customer content working collaboratively with colleagues
• A good understand of design fundamentals, such as type, colour, layout and imagery creation/optimisation
• Eager to learn and apply latest advancements in e-commerce practices and social media
