Objectives of the role *Accountable to the Delivery Manager for the total performance of their category - savings delivered, value generated, QSIC (Quality, Service, Innovation, Cost reduction) improvements, stakeholder satisfaction, demand management and visibility; staff & team development. * Overall accountability for the quality of work delivered by Sourcing teams - set & maintain high standards
Who we're looking for
Principal accountabilities *Build & main Category Plans which detail a clear improvement "road-map" including: 1. Sourcing Projects - The identification of sourcing opportunities that deliver tangible savings to the business. Ensure the quality & timeliness of the Sourcing projects - line managing Sourcing Managers and flexible consultant resources to deliver a portfolio of planned and reactive sourcing projects 2. Demand drivers - Build strong stakeholder relationships - raising Procurements profile and ensuring early & full engagement in all projects, developing new opportunities in a collaborative approach. Implement strategy and process improvements with stakeholders to improve demand forecasting visibility 3. SRM plans - Build Supplier Relationship Management plans with tangible benefits (savings and process) identified and delivered. Actively manage strategic suppliers to maximise value to the organisation, e.g. influence innovation, R&D and business investment. Continually track the Supply Market - keeping a breast of developments, trends, risks and opportunities *Provide clear leadership to extended team - ensuring all savings targets are achieved. Ensure highest quality levels in application of Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Relationship methodologies
