The company has gone through rapid expansion recentlywhich has put increased volume and complexity into the supply chain and we are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to set standards, put appropriate, structure, systems and processes in place and build the capability of the planning/materials team..
It is expected that the job holder will play a key leadership role driving improvement and long term strategy. The job holder will demonstrate a hands on, practical approach to getting the job done with strong delegation skills and a coaching style. In summary, the capability to pull together all the resources and systems and create a highly effective and efficient Supply solution that is integrated with the rest of the business.
Key Responsibilities -
• To ensure team and own compliance with all Health and Safety processes and procedures whilst always seeking improvement and optimum safety practice.
• To ensure the inventory/factory schedules created meet all demands, including customers orders, working capital targets, factory efficiencies, MOQ and MRP settings.
• Develop and implement "World Class" inventory management processes and create a culture of continuous improvement
• Creating a clear staff succession to ensure full business continuity and development opportunities.
• To ensure acceptance and sign off against the "one number" forecast, through robust data and challenge.
• To ensure capacity (surplus or deficit) are well communicated and planned accordingly.
• Review and finesse MRP settings, acting as guardian and working with internal and external partners to improve.
• Control and manage change driven through the business, ensuring clean NPD introduction, clean product exit, team attendance and excellent communication.
• To challenge and pursue data excellence - including forecasts, supplier lead times and factory efficiencies.
• To drive effective management and budgetary ownership of residual stock items ensuring accountability and improvement.
• Establish and develop appropriate KPI's, in conjunction with key stakeholders and implement / review regularly.
• Team of c. 6, one assistant manager
• Scheduling and inventory control for all raw materials, packaging and finished goods across 3 owned sites 2 3rd party manufacturing sites and numerous inventory suppliers.

• Experience of leading and developing an effective and efficient FMCG Supply Chain Team
• Communication and delivery of Supply Chain Strategy
• People performance management and development
• Experience of effectively managing supplier contracts, UK and International
• Experience of managing a budget >£500k
• Led cross functional teams to deliver significant project or objective.
• Evidence of delivering significant Service improvements
• Developed systems and processes to maintain best in class status
