The main responsibilities of the role include; • Managing Partnerships within the corporate fundraising team involving securing new business, account management/development of existing corporate supporters and supporting regional and retail colleagues to develop their network of corporate supporters. • To pro-actively research and make targeted approaches to companies, matching the needs of the Charity to the potential company Partnerships. This will involve leading the creation of tailored and structured approaches to corporate Partnerships. • To encourage the use of internal corporate Partnerships networks and contacts in order to maximise new Partnerships. • To deliver excellent prospect and client management, to strengthen Partnerships and maximise support and loyalty. • To be an active and collaborative member of the wider Partnership Development Team which includes statutory, lottery, Europe, trusts and foundations and major donor fundraising.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have; • Proven success in securing new Partnerships within the corporate sector across a range of income streams and delivering against ambitious targets. • Experience of working collaboratively and across teams to shape fundraising opportunities. • Experience of all new Partnerships activity - including research, cold calling, and writing targeted proposals and presentations. • Experience of team working and leadership. • Experience of setting and managing personal workloads. • Able to demonstrate an ability to operate at the highest management level. • Able to demonstrate an ability to work creatively and flexibly to achieve results.
