Application Support Analyst

Our Leisure client has an excellent brand and is investing heavily in their key sites and supporting technologies. They require an Application Support Analyst to join their Northamptonshire office and deliver excellent service to customers.


You will be responsible for providing efficient and effective applications support to the clients inbound and outbound Sales, and Events departments whilst ensuring the data integrity on all business systems is protected.Due to size of the team you will also gain exposure to business analysis and business process re-engineering, therefore a can-do attitude is a must.

Application support

• Providing first/second line support for user issues
• Ensuring sales systems are fully operational
• Responding to user queries and providing advice on the use of the systems
• Escalating issues requiring developer/analyst input as appropriate
• Maintain system data
• Identify and document processes used to implement upgrades, fixes and new modules / applications

Supplier management

• Manage supplier relationships on a daily basis
• Ensuring fixes and workarounds are provided from the software provider within agreed SLA
• Monitor, coordinate, and communicate progress on the resolution of issues

Who we're looking for
To be considered for the position of Application Support Analyst, you must be able to demonstrate:
• Degree-educated in an IT Discipline
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in supporting CRM / sales software applications (ticketing software e.g. Enta or Audience View are highly desirable)
• Familiarity with standard support processes such as incident and issue management
• Responsibility for live systems
• Exposure to problem tracking systems
• Experience of working in a pressured, time critical, environment
• Ability to handle customers with different levels of technical and business knowledge
• Experience of business analysis is highly desirable
