Based in the Central London head office, the Accessories & Gifting Merchandiser will be managing one of the most high profile and fast-paced areas in this high street fashion retailer. Managing and OTB of circa. £50 million and with a high sku count in excess of 1,500 you will be trading this area, having responsibility for all intake, mark-down and promotional activity. Monitoring your WSSI, with the support of 2 Assistant Merchandisers and an Allocator, you will also present trade on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis as well as taking appropriate actions to ensure maximum profitability. Working closely with 2 buying teams, you will also plan the range to ensure that there is a balanced and commercial range that meets the company strategy and your KPIs. You will use your product knowledge to make recommendations and work with internal stakeholders to ensure the range is market leading. Working with the supply base, you will monitor performance and ensure stock availability is on plan.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate for the Accessories & Gifting Merchandiser will: • be currently working within a fast-paced, high street fashion retailer at Merchandiser level or equivalent • be an excellent communicator with strong leadership skills • have excellent commercial acumen and be able to make decisive decisions • have very strong numerical and analytical skills • show strong Excel abilities to manage your WSSI • demonstrate real achievements within your current role • have managed at least 1 Assistant Merchandiser previously • be able to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
