Roles and Responsibilities 1 Risk Assessment Assist in implementing the Risk Management Policy by: ?h identifying, prioritising and documenting major risks; and ?h overseeing the process of introducing controls to manage and mitigate such risks. 2 Policies and procedures ?h Assist in the design, implementation and periodic review of the company's policies and procedures. ?h Ensure that all policies and procedures extend to the identification and control of potential risk. ?h Ensure that Group standards are maintained within the Company and that policies and procedures are adequately documented.3 Education and advice ?h Implement changes in policies, organisation, procedures and processes developed by the regulators and internally in such a way that all relevant parties understand and support these changes. ?h Co-ordinate training and education. ?h Provide commercial and positive advice to the business in a timely manner. 4 Monitoring ?h Execute a continuous monitoring programme. 5 Reporting ?h Report findings of all monitoring reviews 6 Corrective action ?h Act in a consultancy capacity to document, agree and oversee the implementation of any necessary corrective action. ?h Monitor timely implementation of corrective action. ?h Escalate failures to implement corrective action to the Compliance Officer 7 Liaising with regulators ?h When requested, provide pro-active and open dialogue with regulators. ?h Assist in the management of regulatory visits.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have discretionary Fund Management experience in the retail investment management space, which includes experience in client money, Retail Distribution Review & TCF. As well as strong communication skills and a good team player with a flexible attitude.
