Procurement Officer

• The overall purpose of this role is to support the Procurement Manager in the development of the Annual Procurement Plan and ensure the Category Management Process is being adhered to for the purchasing of goods and services.
• Work closely with key stakeholder(s) in managing their categories and ensure that the Category Management Process is being adhered to.
• Manage the Procurement Process for contracts within the agreed threshold. The threshold may change to suits the company requirements.
• Develop and manage Supplier and Contract database. This includes the Preferred, Approved and Potential suppliers.
Responsible for these categories (they may change in the future):
• Office Equipment and Supplies.
• Office Services e.g. courier services, postage and confidential waste.
• Building Maintenance - head office.

Who we're looking for
• Anindividual with a knowledge and understanding of procurement,with a successful career path (preferably within the service industry).
• Proven experience in Category Management and annual Procurement Plan.
• Demonstrated experience of working with electronic procurement system(s) and generic Procurement Processes.
• Degree of CIPS qualified
• Full UK driving license
