The marketing manager will develop innovative and creative ways to acquire new readers and retain existing ones working closely with key partners, both external and internal, to maximise the profile and sales of the titles based in Central London.

Who we're looking for
Skills required to succeed in this role:
• Substantial experience in planning and implementing marketing initiatives in the magazines and new media industry or similar environment.
• Ability to understand and influence strategic goals and translate demands into workable promotional plans
• Commercial awareness and good understanding of the brands and their market places
• Strong influencing skills
• Proven budget management skills
• Experience of working with and influencing staff at all levels
• Proven track record in creating and delivering innovative promotions that lead to sales success
• Ability to analyse and make decisions drawing upon numerous information sources
• Excellent PC skills, in particular with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience of an "outsourcing" environment e.g. working with buying teams, creative agencies etc.
• An enthusiasm for the subject matter is essential
