Industry leading and functional model changes have opened up the opportunity for a high calibre individual to join a Tier 1 banking organisation. Applicants will need to have experience of Rates, Commodities and RMBS products, strong regulatory reporting and financial control background.
• Understand the regulatory changes and the potential impacts to the Business model, work with the Front Office to minimise the impacts.
• Understand impact of IFRS changes and help suggest strategies for minimising impact on business models.
• Monthly validation and control of the balance sheet for the Rates and Commodities businesses via review of trends and outliers.
• Review Asset Liquidity Charges proposal for 2012.
• Banking book versus Trading book review.
• Development of weekly balance sheet flash to include attribution and commentary.
• Development of monthly balance sheet packs for financial presentation.
• Balance Sheet planning and quarterly review meeting including analysis versus proposed initiatives.

Who we're looking for
• Experience of Rates, Commodities and RMBS products.
• Financial Control working knowledge
• Regulatory Reporting background.
• Proven leadership and influencing skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Degree qualified.
