Senior Finance opportunity with FTSE business:
To deliver the Group's new business reporting, forecasting and planning (including volumes, market share, profitability and capital measures) for both internal and external reporting.
Providing analysis, insight and challenge to the Leadership team, the Board and the businesses and thereby influencing the performance of the Group.
Who we're looking for
Recognised accounting qualification:
1. Good level of technical knowledge of Group and Life Assurance accounting (IFRS and MCEV).
2. Good general experience of insurance environment, regulatory framework (FSA), solvency measures and actuarial principles and practices, especially MCEV.
3. Significant, relevant financial experience, especially in relation to embedded value and product pricing techniques employed in listed life assurance companies.
4. Worked in the equivalent of a FTSE 100 company in both size and complexity.
5. Be able to apply commercial commentary to business decisions.
6. Experience of working effectively with external stakeholders and communication at board level.
7. Good experience of trend analysis and risk impact assessment.
