New Business Development Manger

The New Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating sales revenue through proactive new business acquisition over the telephone and field appointments, utilizing excellent communication skills and a client centric approach. A typical week will be1-2 days telephone based and3-4 days field based. The role will also require a close working relationship with other members of the team to ensure each opportunity is managed in the most efficient manner.
Key Result Areas
 Achieve and exceed targeted revenue as set by Head of Sales in line with sales schedule.
 Promote Business Intelligence subscription products and services to new customers in order to broaden our current client base.
 Actively participate in internal and external training and coaching sessions for improved sales performance as well as adopting a proactive approach to learning on the job.
 Ensure that all contact and pipeline data is kept up to date on a daily basis and captured in an appropriate format.

 Keep accurate and detailed records of calls made and results achieved.

 Contribute to the overall development and success of the team by suggesting ideas for future campaigns and highlighting strengths and weaknesses of particular campaigns and sales approaches.

 Maintain, support and renew customers once on-boarded in order to ensure retention targets are met and exceeded

 Any other duties as and when required

Who we're looking for
Key Skills and Experience:
• Previous tele-sales experience with evidence of achieving and exceeding personal targets
• Graduate level qualifications
• Ambitious, proactive, driven and self motivated
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in a B2B sales environment an advantage
• Excellent planning and time management skills
