Head of Marketing, Communication & Development

?X Communications: Responsible for external and internal communications and developing overarching plans for stakeholder communications. Producing a range of magazines, newsletters and targeted communications for applicants, students, staff, alumni and external stakeholders.
?X Marketing: Providing a strategic overview and practical support for the marketing of all the courses and the development and implementation of marketing plans to support this. This includes organising representation at promotional events and the development and implementation of advertising plans, prospectuses and corporate literature.
Responsible also for market research, to ensure that course development and review is based on sound evidence and competitor analysis.
?X Website Ensuring that the website is relevant and accessible to applicants, potential customers, and stakeholders. To ensure that the content of the website meets the needs of its target audiences and supports the marketing and communication strategy.
?X Media Relations: The media function plays a key role in reputation development and protection.
?X Academic Publications: Offering editorial and marketing services to support academic colleagues in producing a range of academic publications.
?X Development and Fundraising: Building relationships with individuals, businesses, charitable foundations, governmental agencies etc. in support of fundraising campaigns and managing delivery of fundraising activities.
?X Alumni Relations: Providing support to the Alumni and maintaining and developing relations with the alumni in over 100 countries worldwide.

Who we're looking for
1. Proven leadership of and skills in all aspects of marketing and communications at a senior level in a relevant organisational setting, including successfully managing a team with varied roles and responsibilities.
2. Experience of developing an integrated marketing, communications and development strategy, and demonstrable success in its implementation.
3. Strong operational and strategic planning skills and the ability to handle competing demands effectively.
4. Budget management
5. Highly developed interpersonal skills, diplomacy skills and the ability to make decisions and judgements within a complex environment.
6. Proven experience of selecting, briefing and managing external suppliers of design, print and media buying services.
7. Excellent project management and problem solving skills
8. Experience of setting excellent standards of customer service.
9. Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal and experience of presenting to a wide range of stakeholders, including those at a most senior level.
