Business Analyst

Responsibilities will include the following duties.
Planning

- Assist the Client andProject managers in defining detailed business and external (client or market determined) driven milestones and deliverables

- UAT, user training and documentation planning and execution

Requirements Management

- Functional requirement oversight, in particular around; Operating Model and Fund Data Migration.

- Reporting requirements

- Operational service level requirements (e.g. system availability)

- User profiles and security schema

- Requirements sign off & prioritisation

- User reviews

Budget Management

- Ensure any budget impacts are communicated to Project Manager

Resource Management

- Participate in the implementation of the business project on a daily basis (may include multiple projects) with regard to time, budget and quality

- Functional management of any assigned staff and SME's.

- Define business organisation changes required.

Vendor Management

- Monitor Internal development teams and SLA requirements

- User group participation / facilitation

- Business requirements liaison

- Change Control management

- Defect Management

Communication

- Input into weekly and monthly status reporting

- Project Working Group participation

- Input to Issue and Risk Logs

- Business and Project team communication and stakeholder liaison to management level.

Testing and Development

- Business and data rules

- Bespoke report or extract developments

- Test cases creation

- Initial quality assurance of solutions delivered into UAT

- Manage business testing

- Test security e.g. user profiles & privileges

Who we're looking for
Proven track record that can be demonstrated in involvement in complex, cross organisational / geographical business and IT change within the Securities industry.


- Combination of Business Analysis and Project administration skills.

- Strong Fund Admin / Custody background
- Knowledge of Transfer Agency

- Good 360 degree communication skills and interpersonal skills.

- Practical experience of working on either the 'Buy' or 'Sell' side of the Securities industry.

- Structured approach to business analysis including promoting and ensuring adherence to the project management framework defined

- Extensive exposure to Finance and Banking industry environment (e.g., fund administrator, brokerage house, custodian, investment bank etc.) together with business analysis experience. Having knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development is useful but not essential.
