Senior Data Warehouse Developer

The Senior Data Warehouse Developer will work with a small team that provide a service to their telephone banking operation, spanning 18 sites nationally. This includes key MI metrics, and iView (MI Portal/Data Warehouse) which acts as a one stop shop for sales, service and dashboard reporting for the telephone banking operations. This Senior Data Warehouse developer role is instrumental in developing data solutions to support advanced dashboards and reporting.

Who we're looking for
• Proven experience and subject matter expert in specific data management tools and applications (SQL 2005/SSIS).
• Understand Data Warehouse technologies/methodologies.
• Excellent understanding of dimensions and fact tables.
• Thorough understanding of the Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) Process.
• Proven experience of delivering Data Warehousing solutions.
• Strong data extraction skills PL-SQL/T-SQL languages, ETL, Data Modelling.
• Ability to make sound decisions of a highly complex nature under pressure.
• Must have sound communication and influencing skills with the ability to articulate technical solutions and issues to people of varying levels of technical understanding.
• Strong planning and organisation skills.
