AsMarketing Specialist, you willbe a part of the marketing team andwill help shape the communication oftheir value proposition to prospects and clients alike. The main function of this role focuses on email marketing and managing email campaigns inviting clients to participatethe company's meetings offering. This role requires managing multiple ongoing interactive communications efforts simultaneously. The position requires hands-on email campaign management, database management, email design/creation, HTML authoring, editorial and copywriting skills, and response management.The company's live meetings identity in EMEA is growing, and the Marketing Specialist should have a creative and collaborative approach to the broader Marketing /brand needs of this region. The Marketing Specialist will also contribute to other regional marketing or presentation needs as it relates to key internal presentations, client pitches, or other marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
The Marketing Specialist for EMEA is responsible for managing and deploying event marketing efforts, with focus on the following specific duties:
Managing marketing workflow including:
• Manage and execute email distribution and marketing efforts via marketing automation platform including HTML email creation, list segmentation and pre-deployment testing, supporting international regions when necessary
• Proactively monitor marketing metrics (open rates/click-through/deliverability/etc.) and provide analysis of marketing campaigns and recommendations for enhancing effectiveness
• Manage marketing workflows and coordinate with Event Management, Research, and Content teams to ensure that event marketing meets deadlines and corporate standards/requirements
• Employ a consistent best-practice approach to overall client communication, including marketing content and strategy, and providing effective feedback and solutions
• Identify opportunities for cross-marketing events/products by maintaining an open dialogue with Live Meetings, Marketing, and Research Teams
• Applying a pro-active approach in advising on Marketing related matters for EMEA
Who we're looking for
Required Skills
• Recent demonstrablepost-undergraduate experience in interactive/email marketing or online communications, international experience/knowledge preferred
• HTML skillsand experience with HTML editor tools (Dreamweaver/FrontPage) and Photoshop
• Knowledge of best practices for creating email templates, dynamic content, testing methodologies, list segmentation, deliverability and CAN-SPAM laws
• Experience with marketing automation/ESP platforms and landing pages creation preferred
• Strong editorial background, copywriting and copyediting skills are a pre-requisite
• Excellent communication skills, including demonstrated proficiency in oral, writing and presentation abilities in a business-focused setting
• Flexibility and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work around tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Successful track record working in a team environment
• A degree from a top-tier university or equivalent work experience
