Bank Target Operating Models Business Analyst

A Business Analyst position has been created in the Group Finance Change team to support implementation of a Finance Target Operating Model.
Candidate will provide business analysis support on a large cost programme involving rightshoring. The role involves conducting and documenting all project related analyses; coordinating specialist inputs from subject matter experts, articulation of business requirements, workshops, systems testing, implementation support (e.g. integration support, user acceptance testing) and liaison with IT.
The remit of the role will also extend to other functions such as HR, Risk and Compliance where coordination and support in implementing their model will be required.

The Group change team is responsible for delivery of these programmes through the Group and variousdivisional project teams. The team is also responsible for:
• For understanding and defining the internal and external regulatory change requirements
• Providing the appropriate framework and guidance for thedivisional teams
• Ensure all programmes are correctly set up with appropriate ownership, governance and organisation struction to deliver the required changes to a high standard, on time and to budget
• Ensuring all risks and issues are identified and addressed promptly and if necessary escalated on a timely basis
• Ensuring the various steering committees as well as the Accountable Executives have complete oversight on the programme progress and good understanding of all the risks and issues
• Ensuring all Steering committee papers and communications to stakeholders are prepared to a high standard on a timely basis
• Managing project resources, including providing line management for members of the change team
• Management and Reporting of programme costs on timely basis
• It is essential for the candidate to be resourceful, detailed with good influencing skills
The role will provide the successful candidate with a good overview of the various Finance and Risk functions, products and systems architecture and provide opportunities to move into a business role in the future.

Need to be...
• Accredited in Programme and Project management (e.g. MSP, Prince II)
• Big Four qualified ACA or CIMA
• Strong systems experience including knowledge of large GL packages such as SAP & Hyperion
• Good SOX, Financial Control and GL Control experienc

Who we're looking for
Successful candidates will be highly capable and confident individuals with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Individuals must be highly motivated, delivery focused and able to coordinate or influence multiple activities across various disciplines within a bank.

Essential
• A proven track record in working on a successful cost/rightshoring project, process re-engineering, change management, and completing business specifications to meet customer requirements
• Experience of working in large scale transformation programmes in banking or financial organisation. Of particular interest, rightshoring and operating model implementation experience<BR>• Excellent analytical skills
• IT technical skills; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project and Visio skills
• and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure (Citrix)
• Characteristics; attention to detail, concern for quality, ability to multi-task, assertive, customer focussed
• Interpersonal skills; communication (written, oral, presentation), risk and issue management, stakeholder management, influencing skills
• Ability to execute quickly and effectively - strong influencing skills and ability to get things done in a complex matrix organisational structure
• Ability to perform risk assessment of control issues and exercise judgement over escalation
• Confidence and gravitas - ability to deal with multiple stakeholders in dif
