A General Manager is required in Paragon's Ross on Wye site. This role is ultimately responsible for the sites performance, strategic direction and customer fulfilment essential relationship building with sales and marketing. Key parts of the role include:
• Management & control of the site P&L
• Reporting to board level against other sites
• Lead the introduction of account development, primarily fro key accounts
• Man power planning
• Control the funding and revenue model to ensure the business can operate successfully to deliver service and maximise potential profits
• Create a successful strategy for the growth of all sales channels and complimentary revenue streams guided by account management.
• Respond to fluctuating project requirements with a five year business proposal with concentration on PESTLE factors
• Ensure Fleet management is properly adhered to with all legislation and HSE requirements
• You will be responsible for the logistics, processing, & commercial teams
You will have had exposure to Sales and Marketing streams and understand the importance they posses to the business
Who we're looking for
You will be an experienced General Manager who is commercially aware and operates in a specific service orientated role . You will be familiar with working in a fluid environment that maintains a 24/7 service level to its customers.
To be successful you must demonstrate the following:
• Commercially aware as well as operationally experienced in a service environment or an FMCG environment that is customer service driven. Knowledge of Sales and Marketing as you will work closely with disciplines.
• Can demonstrate where you have developed commercial relationships and be the point of escalation.
• A proven track record in process improvement and driving productivity forward.
• Flexibility and the capacity to adapt to changing priorities without effecting customer
• General management skills to establish a proactive work force.
• Creation of business strategy and roll out
• Examples of a pro active approach to problem solving
• Your competitive edge to be the best
• Ability to create an open people lead environment.
It is vital you understand the pressures of working in a customer driven service environment and you are flexible to be on call and see all the shifts in operation
