Area Operations Manager

Reporting to the Operations Manager this role is to lead and develop manufacturing teams, to deliver and continuously improve product stream performance, managing on going manufacture, establishing and managing NPI/ NPD operations according to company processes, policies and procedures. Specifics will include:
• Ensure a healthy, safe and productive and visually performance- managed plastics department.
• Implement and comply with agreed quality systems
• Effectively plan, communicating and delivering manufacturing quality, value and service targets.
• Management of all staff hiring and discipline
• Identify and communicate capital requirements
• Contribute to budget development and monitor and control all use of resources
• Identify, drive and implements a CI program across the cells

Who we're looking for
• Commutable applicant from within 40 miles of Wisbech or happy to relocate.
• A proven Production Manager preferably from automotive, plastics or a fast paced manufacturing background.
• Ideally Degree qualified and at least familiar with modern manufacturing experience.
