Our Client, a London based Big 4 Consultancy firm, is looking for a Process Improvement Consultant to join their growing Insurance function. You'll work as part of a team of industry specialists providing consulting services to all the major Insurance firms, so you'll quickly build upon your existing industry knowledge to become an expert in your field. The projects you'll work on will be complex and challenging, focussing on designing banking functional operating models, process reengineering, operations improvement, M&A support and broader revenue enhancement and cost reduction initiatives. You will also: • Work within or manage small projects or programme work streams • Understand and anticipate client requirements and develop client relationships • Develop work plans for engagements and produce exceptional deliverables for clients • Contribute to the development and growth of the insurance practice
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have relevant experience within a major insurer or consulting firm involved in either General Insurance or Life and Pensions sectors. You will havedetailed knowledge and understanding of the UK insurance industry and market; of specific interest is experience of Life and Pensions and or working knowledge of Solvency II. Further requirements include: • a 2:1 or above froma leading University • Excellent project and programme management disciplines • Excellent people skills • Enthusiasm and passion for the delivery of market leading solutions that make a difference • All applicants are required to understand risk, how to mitigate risk and protect the firm's reputation • Knowledge of methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, BPR techniques and implementation methodologies beneficial • 100% flexibility regarding national travel
