Production Planner

FMCG

East Midlands

Permanent ⁄ £25000 - £30000

The responsibilities are as follows;
• To extract the works order demand from MRP and put into the agreed plan format. To ensure that the plan is updated and maintained by all parties until completion
• To schedule the production plan through MRP
• Proactively operate within the lean philosophy ensuring continuous improvements across all areas of business processes are achieved
• To translate the budgeted production rates and the agreed plans into production targets, and to ensure that these are communicated throughout production
• To understand and agree with the manufacturing management team the demonstrated capability within production and to ensure that this is integrated within the wider planning process
• To manage the communication between all interested parties regarding plan completion and running order

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following;

• Working Knowledge and understanding of ERP systems
• Working knowledge within an FMCG environment
• Analytical decision making ability
• Communications well at all levels: share ideas and contribute
• Take the initiative to problem solve, challenge & improve to deliver the agree targets
