The Senior PR & Social Media Executive is to plan, manage and evaluate the PR & Social Media strategy in order to maximise the brand exposure in key target media and strengthen the competitive benefit from the brand. Key responsibilities will include:
• Research, plan and develop a PR strategy to deliver agreed return of investment goals whilst ensuring synergy with strategic vision and the overall Marketing plan.
• Developing the brand beyond their core industry media.
• Effectively manage the PR agency to ensure ongoing execution of the PR plan, including KPIs and ROI.
• Develop relationships with key contacts in the press.
• Manage the PR approval process to ensure all key stakeholders, including Group.
• Ensure PR & Social Media functions have suitable internal publicity by engaging with key senior decision makers across the business areas.

Who we're looking for
To be considered for this role you must be a degree educated, or equivalent, with proven UK market PR experience. You will have developed and managed PR activity to compliment and promote the business inline with corporate and broader marketing objectives. You will have managed an agency able to extract best value, whilst developing internal stakeholder relationships to promote the function. You will have a current understanding of the social media channel and how to best utilise to communicate effectively to a broader audience, both b2b and b2c. You will need to be comfortable working autonomously and able to add value through using your initiative.
