Assistant Merchandiser

A great opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Merchandiser to work for a leading outdoor retailer in the South West. Michael Page Buying & Merchandising
As an Assistant Merchandiser your responsibilities include:
• Merchandise planning for future seasons
• Reviewing sales and adjusting stock intake accordingly to maximise sales
• Updating & reviewing the WSSI report
• Producing markdown proposals
• Liaising with suppliers
• Producing ad hoc analysis
• Managing an allocator and the distribution of stock

Who we're looking for
In order to be considered for this Assistant Merchandiser role you must:
• Have an active interest in the outdoors
• Previous as an Assistant Merchandiser or established Senior Allocator
• Be a team player with good communication skills
• Have excellent time management skills
• Possess enthusiasm and drive and be extremely commercial
• Be PC literate
