The main objective of the audit manager will be to manage a portfolio of audit clients ranging from sizeable limited companies, charities, housing associations and credit unions. More specifically, the role will include:
• Planning the audit work for a portfolio of clients to ensure all reporting and audit deadlines are met,
• Ensuring that each audit assignment is completed to the firms standards, timely and within agreed budget,
• Manage the audit teams on each assignment and provide training and assistance to more junior members of staff,
• Ensure audit partner is kept aware of all issues and of progress on each assignment.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate for the audit manager position will have the following skill set:
• Be a qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/ACA),
• Have both experience of audit and of accounts preparation,
• Experienced of managing a portfolio of clients, either as an assistant manager at a larger practice or as an established manager for a smaller practice,
• Experience of using Audit Software is essential

Salary of £38,000 to £40,000 plus pension
