Transport Shift Manager

The role provides an opportunity to make a difference is the leadership and management of the already exciting site in relation to staffing and process. This position is key to the site team and will involve leading a team of colleagues on a daily basis and being accountable for their recruitment, training, development, performance and disciplinary.
In relation to the drivers this position will be responsible for the inbound and outward journeys of the drivers which will include doing a full debrief, analysis and vehicle checks. Recognition and reward for the team will also be expected.
The role will involve the delivery of all commercial targets and be responsible for multiple KPI's.

Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for a candidate with a strong drive and have a proven track record in KPI drivenachievements. The successful candidate will need excellent communication, operational and decision making skills whilst being passionate about the role. Flexibility around shifts will also be required due to this being a shift position.
