Key Account Manager Northern Europe

Chemical/ Petrochemical industry

Are you experienced within the chemical- or petrochemical industry? In this comprehensive position you manage and develop close relationships with the customers and coordinate with Supply Chain, Technical Service & Development, Marketing, Sales Management and Finance the actions to be taken in order to meet the volume, margin and market participation plans. The job requires frequent travelling.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;

- Leading the interface at the customer Keeping the current supply position at specific key accounts including Pan European or other direct accounts
- Growing the business profitably
- Contributing to a smooth interface with other team members (Customer Service, Supply Chain, Credit, Technical Service, Marketing and more)
- Exploring and developing new business opportunities at established and new account
- Coordinating all activities related to customer/project success
- Implementation of the market participation objectives and goals

Who we're looking for
- Preferably a bachelor or master degree or other industry related education
- Significant field sales or marketing experience are preferred, ideally a commercial experience in the sale of industrial products/systems/solutions. Experience in the petrochemical industry is a clear benefit
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English, German or French is a pre
- Able to build and maintain relationships at all levels with customers and within Braskem
- Able to adapt to an international environment
- Self-starter, organized and highly motivated with an entrepreneurial mind set
- Someone with a passion to drive success and grow
- Strong in collaborating for superior results and generating customer value
- Good interpersonal and negotiations skills combined with good business acumen will be key, to create the right customer intimacy ensuring success in the role

In the course of business expansion in Europe, we are looking for an experienced, commercially driven Key Account Manager who will be responsible for all plastics business related activities in Northern Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales of Polyethylene and Polypropylene in a variety of market segments and industries in Northern Europe which comprises of Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK and Nordic countries. You will be contracted via the German headquarters, but working locations (home based) are preferable within the Sales region as most clients are located in this area. In this role you report to European Sales Leader.
